Nice concept, but unable to view all shares and sub-shares

This app has great potential but does not work very well. Some shares dont show up despite having the correct connection and the right access.

Some of the sub shares dont all show up. Ive been working on this for several days & support website states the following,

WD Photos processes photos at about 30 seconds each:

Average time to complete on an idle My Book World Edition (White Light):

500 Photos4 hours, 10 minutes
2500 Photos20 hours, 50 minutes
5000 Photos1 day, 17 hours, 40 minutes
10,000 Photos3 days, 11 hours, 20 minutes
20,000 Photos6 days, 22 hours, 40 minutes

Solution:
Wait until the transcoding is complete.

So, my big question is, why does this transcoding "really" entail? Why does the "My Cloud" app take only a few seconds after Ive made adjustments to my NAS? Why does this particular app take that long to process? Where is this transcoding being processed?

Whats the point of having a NAS if this app takes that long to "transcode"?

Sounds a bit fishy to me.
