WD Photo wont display all My Book Live content

I could not get WD Photo to display a new folder on my My Book Live drive so I tried refreshing the view and then cleared the cache and tried again with no success. Next I tried rebuilding the WD2go server on the drive and then rebooted and things got a lot worse. Now I can only see a small portion of the content through WD Photo app and yet the My Cloud app shows everything proving that its all there. The WD Photo app needs repair since the My Cloud app is not nearly as well suited to view photos. I liked WD Photo when it worked but will consider another drive manufacturer if WD Photo does not get fixed.
